mother of all Vidyās - jyotish

mother of all Vidyās, the study of astral plane, astrology is a science of light, no wonder it's called jyotish.....

it's the science which guides a being to stay connected to the astral plane above and it carves the path of a spirit from physical life to the spirit life, from a physical plane to higher spiritual plane, from this realm of mortals to the realm of immortality, from earth to exit.....

that's what the journey from 1st expression, the house of physical body to 12th expression, the house of supreme bliss, the exit from this plane represent.....

there is a beautyfull technique (ukti/उक्ति) in the science of astrology called "the opposition of houses", which mentions the direct significance of each house versus the significance of the exact opposite house in relation to the aspect of that house..... it shows the direct & opposite means the 7th relation between two houses and how the activation of one house activates the significance of the house which is exactly opposite to it..... (refer pic 1)

like 1H & 7H, 2H & 8H, 3H & 9H, 4H & 10H, 5H & 11H and, 6H & 12H..... and, so on..... each house represent one of purushārth (dharm, arth, kām, moksha) beginning from the 1H to 12H..... and,

with this arrangement of opposition, you will find out that all dharm houses are opposite kām houses, whereas all arth houses are opposite moksha houses..... (refer pic 2)

this sets the battle of dharm means divine laws against kām means the desires and, the battle of arth means the meaning out of one's actions against moksha means liberation..... that's what the opposition of the house expression too works as.....

for example, the 6H is the house of day to day routine, daily discipline, the house of opponents, the house of disease, debts and, 6H is also the arth house, which simply means whatever actions one performs everyday should add some value to oneself from the disease, disorders and debts and, if 6H is activated with an everyday discipline, it activates the exactly opposite house to it, the 12H and, you see the beauty of jyotish Vidyā, 12H is the house of moksha from earth plane, the house of supreme bliss, ultimate pleasure which brings the ultimate rest.....

that's what even the 6H opponents does to one.....it ignites the flame of penance in everyday life, which ultimately pushes one out of this matrix..... none other than the opponents can do for the being..... and, that's what hiranyakshyap did for prahlād, duryodhan did for arjun, pundits did for kabir, rana did for meera.....

and, this secret of opposition explains every house significantly and the activation of the opposite house..... e.g. 2H is opposite to 8H..... 2H, the house of speech, basic food intake is opposite to house of sacred secret Vidyā 8H, the house of esoterism and occultism..... if house of speech is disciplined, it activates the house of Vidyā too..... like devrishi nārad speaks lord nārayan's name and delivers secret mantra unto the prahlād.....

let's look at the 3H vs 9H..... house of behavior versus the house of fortune & tapasya..... if 3H is disciplined means one's behavior is disciplined, that's when one matures in tapasya and one becomes fortunate..... like arjun's right behavior towards lord krishn ables him to receive the fortunate fruit of his tapasya in the battlefield.....

thence, each house activates the full potential & expression of the house opposite to it, if the expression the prior or latter is disciplined & worked upon..... ~ V
