jyotish vidya

 V speaks in the Disciple Meet:

Jyotish is a vidya and one must learn it in a way a vidya is learnt while following the basic disciplines of learning any form of vidya. Since, today the outlook of all the vidya padhatis is lost and only money & fame remains the base of everything, hence, the vidya is compromised as the practitioners have to please their clients or associates but, the truth remains the truth.

Now, just a small example how Jyotish vidya works on a birth level!!

There are two very important graha i.e. Bruhaspati (Jupiter) and Shani (Saturn). Bruhaspati is the guru of the gods and he is the of son of brahma. Shani is the judgement maker to the mortal beings and he is the son of Surya.

Our earthly plane is illumined two direct illuminary gruha: Surya and Chandrama. Now, what discipline the earthly mortal being follows, practises and masters during his lifetime defines his ascension or descension. If one does all bad deeds on all the three levels of mansa, vaachaa & karmana and doesn't learn anything; he is handled by Shani and the being descends back to the loka which is ruled by Shani's father Sun i.e. Bhu-loka.

And, if the being follows, practises and masters his vices as instructed & guided by one's guru; he is handled by Bruhaspati and the being ascends to the loka ruled by Bruhaspati's father i.e. Brahma-loka. That's one of the biggest reason why so much of importance is given to guru in all the scriptures from time immemorial on this earth.

This is one of the sutra what all the four Ved speaks, what Shiv shared to Parvati in Guru Geeta, what Krushn delivered unto Arjun; to be of service to guru and learn the righteous ways to ascend from this land of mortals. ~~~V
