solar crown of a'deity'a Varun.....

surya-mandal, the nārion astra (नारायणास्त्र), the celestial weapon of Vishnu.....

"astral plane is real astrālya (अस्त्रालय), the store house of weapons"
scriptures mention the astral weapons of diVine & the deities, the weapons which function sonically..... and,
solar crowns are one such astral weapon which has been and it is used to correct the course of action as well as for defence & protection (सुरक्षा क'वच')..... not just a mere sight to behold.....
only & only with real tapasya, one gains access to the astral plane & beyond the sky plane.....
e.g. in jay itihās aka mahābhārat, maharishi Vyas narrates an episode in drone parv-
"ashwathāmā invoked nārion astra against the pāndavs and many solar crown rings/surymandal appear in the sky shooting thousands of arrows over the army of pāndavs and all getting killed"
seeing the astral weapon up in the sky, lord krishn advices pāndavs, "to get down from their chariots, to drop their arms & bows and bow down to nārion astra, for anyone going against this weapon, even if they go to lower plane rasātal, still this weapon will not leave him without slaying"
sutra: it's certainly Wise to bow down to the solar crown..... simple..!!!
